Hi there, my name is Matt Williams, and I'm a passionate composer based on the Gold Coast.
I've loved film, TV, and video game music for as long as I can remember.
I don’t remember a time in my life where I haven’t loved orchestral music. Film scores were my first passion - from the works of modern composers like John Powell and Michael Giacchino all the way back to the Golden Age composers like Miklós Rózsa and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. John Williams goes without saying of course.
As a teenager, I began to explore classical music, and found myself enthralled with the composers of the Romantic Era - Mahler, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninoff to name a few.
In the last few years I have become increasingly involved in creating music of my own, and this journey has led me to the exciting path of building a career as a full-time composer. Throughout this site you can find examples of my previous work.
